Our terms

Below you will find the terms and conditions that apply to all orders and services of PawsNL.

Article 1 — Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every offer from PawsNL and to every distance contract concluded between PawsNL and the customer.

By placing an order through our webshop, you agree to these terms and conditions. We recommend that you read these terms carefully before placing an order.

If one or more provisions of these terms are invalid or voidable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Article 3 — Offers and prices

All prices on our website are listed in euros and are inclusive of VAT.

The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products offered. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer do not bind PawsNL.

We reserve the right to change prices and the product range at any time. Orders already placed are not affected by price changes.

Shipping costs are €4.95 for orders under €35. Orders of €35 or more are shipped free of charge.

Article 4 — Orders and agreement

The agreement is established when you place an order and the payment has been successfully processed. You will receive an order confirmation by email.

PawsNL reserves the right to refuse an order or impose additional conditions, for example in case of suspected fraud or an unreasonably large order.

Article 5 — Payment

Payments are securely processed via Stripe. We offer the following payment methods:

  • iDEAL
  • Bancontact
  • Klarna
  • Visa
  • Mastercard

Payment is made at the time of placing the order. We do not store any payment details; this is handled entirely by Stripe.

Article 6 — Delivery

The delivery time is on average 5 to 10 business days after receipt of payment. We ship to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

In case of a delivery delay, you will be informed as soon as possible by email.

The risk of damage or loss of products lies with PawsNL until the moment of delivery to the customer or a pre-designated representative.

Article 7 — Right of withdrawal

The statutory cooling-off period is 14 days. At PawsNL, however, we offer you an extended return period of 30 days. Within this period, you can cancel the agreement without giving a reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, send an email to info@pawsnlshop.com with your order number and the product you wish to return.

After receipt and inspection of the returned product, we will refund the purchase amount within 5 to 7 business days. The costs of return shipping are at the expense of the customer, unless the product is defective.

The right of withdrawal is excluded for:

  • Hygiene products where the seal has been broken
  • Opened pet food or treats
  • Custom made or personalised products

Article 8 — Complaints

Do you have a complaint about a product or our service? Please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours, at info@pawsnlshop.com.

Please include your order number, a clear description of the complaint and any photos as evidence in your email. We aim to handle complaints within 5 business days.

If we cannot reach an agreement, you can submit your complaint to the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 9 — Liability

PawsNL is not liable for damage resulting from incorrect use of the products. We always recommend reading the product description and instructions for use carefully.

The liability of PawsNL is in all cases limited to the amount the customer paid for the product in question.

PawsNL is not liable for damage resulting from force majeure, including but not limited to delays by carriers, strikes, natural disasters or internet disruptions.

Article 10 — Applicable law

Dutch law applies to all agreements between PawsNL and the customer.

Disputes arising from or related to an agreement shall be submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam, unless the law prescribes another court.

Article 11 — Final provisions

PawsNL reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. The most recent version is always available on our website. We will inform our customers of significant changes.
